Fed up with his wife and with his job in advertising, Benjamin, 28 years old, decides one day to become… a dog. He chooses his « model » in a catalogue and wakes up the next day metamorphosed into a mongrel. From that moment, he discovers life from a different, comical angle, especially while he still understands human language. First, he meets his parents and realises that he isn’t the adored son that he thought he was. Now homeless, he learns how free one can be on all fours, but also how hungry and how lonely. Then, eager to take his revenge on his wife, he starts to attack young women with brown hair looking like her. Having become a famous « serial biter », he is taken to an animal sanctuary, then adopted by a truck driver who reveals to be an opera lover. Life is wonderful until he gets abandoned on a highway parking lot. Completely lost, he is adopted by a woman who is heading for Paris. The daily contact with his benefactress makes him fall in love with her…
